So what makes this stone type so special?

Marble is extremely elegant, adding class to the entire interior. It is a symbol of wealth and luxury, which is why it is so often chosen as a material for finishing off living spaces. However, is this a suitable natural stone for a floor that is used intensively?

Advantages of laying marble on the floor

The main advantage of using natural marble on your floor is the fact that it provides the most unique look, no one stone is the same and your interior design will always be unique to your home. Your marble stone floor can easily be the main attraction of the selected living space it is used in.

What are the disadvantages of marble flooring?

Marble tiles must be very well sealed with a specially formulated tile sealer to be highly resistant to staining. Over time, they can be scratched because natural marble is not completely resistant to scratches or abrasion, so it is not recommended for marble tiles to be used outdoors. It should be noted, however, that although marble is not completely resistant to abrasion, it wears off elegantly. The stone "ages" beautifully and elegantly, evolving throughout its lifetime.

Costs, what is the price of a marble floor?

Marble tile prices vary. The price of natural marble very much depends on the specific type of marble and its origin, its quality grade and availability. Our most popular ranges are our Carrara white and Crema Marfil ranges however, we introduced many new lines of natural marble that are available in many formats such as our very unique mosaic ranges and the larger 610 x 1220 sizes in our Carrara Royal range, we can already see them trending and gaining popularity with our customers. Which marble range is best suited for floors?

Well, this totally depends on which floor area you wish to install them in, for example, all of our range of natural marble stones are suitable for floors however, we wouldn’t recommend a polished finish marble in your bathroom for safety reasons and honed finish tiles may make your hallway look less bright and a bit dull, Calacatta range may be best suitable for kitchens, due to their heavy veining and stains that may occur over their lifetime may be less noticeable whereas Carrara white range will brighten up your living room better than any other marble range. These examples are things to consider when choosing your next beautiful floor tiles, so there is no simple answer here, but if planned correctly, we are sure to have a range available to best suit your needs.
